This is a reminder that the monthly public meeting of Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2C for the month of April will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at 6:30 PM at United House of Prayer for All People, 601 M Street, NW (enter at midblock). This may only be a one time change in the normal meeting place, which is Africare House at 440 R Street, NW. The meeting is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
The only items of business on the advance agenda are requests for support for the street closures necessary for two charity footraces (Army Ten Miler, 10/07/07 and Brain Tumor Society Race for Hope 5K, 05/06/07), and support for Shaw Main Streets' plans to hang banners along 7th and 9th Streets, NW. Other items of old and new business may be taken up by the commission without prior notice. If you are interested in learning the disposition of the agenda items, please let me know.
