The sixth annual Washington, DC International Wine and Food Festival is being held at the Washington Convention Center on March 12-13, 2005, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily. Presented by the Washington Post,ť this event offers an opportunity to sample over 1,700 wines from around the world, with more than 240 international and domestic wineries represented.
The festival also offers seminars featuring renowned wine experts, celebrity chef demonstrations, and much more. Restaurants represented include Café Atlantico, Charlie Palmer Steak, Galileo, Inn at Perry Cabin, Lansdowne Resort, Marcel’s, Mendocino Grille and Wine Bar, Morrison House, Neyla, Olives, Oyamel, Palette, Red Sage, Smith & Wollensky, Sushi Ko, Taberna del Alabardero, and Zola. Chefs will be providing samples and recipes.
