Convention Center
Public tours of the new Washington Convention Center and its award-winning $4 million art collection are scheduled for groups of twenty individuals or fewer as the center's event schedule and building activities permit.
General building tours last about 1.5 hours and, to the extent possible, provide participants with an overview of the exhibit halls, meeting rooms, ballroom, public space areas, and loading docks.
Art tours also last about 1.5 hours and are led by the curator of the WCCA art collection. Typically, both types of tours are scheduled at least monthly on selected weekdays at or about 12:00 PM. Spaces are limited and attendees must be registered in advance with the WCCA Public Affairs staff.
You can sign up for free public tours by calling the WCCA Community Hotline at 202-249-3200. Please state whether you are interested in a general building tour or a tour of the art collection.
